Ripley Campus

Many may be wondering what the phrase multi-site church means. Its being one church in multiple locations. This is possible today as in no other time because of the advances of technology and the Internet. It’s taking what the Lord has blessed the Maranatha Fellowship with and offering the same “DNA” at other locations.

By the leading of the Holy Spirit and the connections that God has orchestrated, the Maranatha Fellowship has started its first multi-site location in the city of Ripley WV at 203 Strait Street.

Before the first service ever occurred a lot of prayer and preparation took place by Senior Pastor James Wright, the staff at the St Albans campus and a host of volunteers in Ripley ant the surrounding areas. Seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit, on what, when, where, and how this site was to be brought “on-line” was key to the success and the continued success of MFC’s first multi-site campus.

In May we had a cleanup day and we were blown away by the response we received with the number of people that came out to help. We started with one Friday night a month beginning in May. In August we started having regular Sunday morning services and in September we started having regular Wednesday night services.

We are excited about the ministry here, how souls have been saved and lives our being changed for the glory of God. Praise the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Great are the challenges but our God is greater.

Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me”.

Philippians 1:6 says, “Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Praise the Lord!
