Lane graduated from West Virginia University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Child Development and Family Studies and in 2001 with a Master of Social Work Degree.  She went on to work in Youth Ministry in Lynchburg, Virginia and obtained her first full time job as an Individual and Family Counselor.  In December 2002, Lane felt the Lord calling her back home to Nitro and to attend Maranatha Fellowship Church.  She continued her work in Individual and Family Counseling.  Knowing her call to the ministry since a child, Lane began feeling the Lord directing her into full-time ministry.
